Terms and Conditions of Hire for Bowtique Events
1. Agreement:
By signing the contract, the client agrees to these terms and conditions, which form a legally binding agreement between Bowtique Events and the client.
2. Booking and Deposit:
• A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total estimated cost is required to secure the booking.
• The deposit must be paid within 7 days of signing the contract to guarantee the reservation date.
3. Final Payment:
• The remaining balance is due 30 days before the event date.
• Late payments may result in additional fees or cancellation of services.
4. Cancellation Policy:
• If the client cancels the booking, the deposit will be forfeited.
• If cancellation occurs after the final payment has been made, refunds will be provided according to the following schedule:
• More than 60 days before the event: Full refund of the final payment.
• 30-60 days before the event: 50% refund of the final payment.
• Less than 30 days before the event: No refund.
5. Changes to Booking:
• Any changes to the booking must be submitted in writing and will be subject to availability.
• Additional charges may apply for changes that increase the scope of services.

9. Liability:
• Bowtique Events is not responsible for any damages or losses incurred during the event due to circumstances beyond our control.
• Clients are responsible for any loss or damage to rented items during the event and agree to pay full repair or replacement costs. Bowtique Events shall notify the hirer as soon as possible of any loss or damaged (with evidence if possible) and the costs that may be involved if they can be repaired or if they need replacing. Bowtique Events will always aim to see if any product item can be fixed to reduce the costs but in the event that a product is damaged beyond repair, an invoice for damages will be issued for payment.
10. Setup and Breakdown:
• Setup will occur 24hrs prior to the event start time and will be arranged with the venue directly.
• Breakdown will take place immediately after the event unless otherwise agreed in writing.
11. Compliance with Venue Rules:
• Clients are responsible for ensuring compliance with all venue rules and regulations, including but not limited to, insurance, safety, and conduct.
12. Force Majeure:
• Bowtique Events shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under this agreement if such failure is due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, unforseeable road traffic delays, acts of government, or other emergencies.
13. Governing Law:
• This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.

6. Chair Cover Bookings:
- If booking Chair Covers – it is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the venue does not intend to change their chairs at any point prior to the date of the event and that the chair covers fit the venue’s chairs.
- Chair covers must not be taken outside a venue; they are for indoor use only. However, our chair covers may be hired for alfresco wedding ceremonies at specific venues with prior agreement from the owner. In these situations, written permission will be given only if the ground is totally dry to avoid staining to the feet pockets and rain is not forecast for the day.
7. Table Centrepiece Bookings:
- If booking centrepieces – it is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure lit flames are allowed in the venue. If a battery candle is required, please advise the owner as this may alter the quotation.
8. Length of Hire Period:
- Prices quoted are for one days hire only, apart from the day of delivery and collection. Subsequent days will be charged at a daily rate unless a special agreement has been arranged prior to the event between the owner and the hire
